"MOREANA"
LORD HOWE ISLAND
In the words of world renowned
naturalist Sir David Attenborough, “Lord Howe
Island is so extraordinary it is almost unbelievable”.
This unique World Heritage Island is home to bird
and plant life found nowhere else on earth. It has
a pristine beauty beyond description.
‘Moreana’, built in 2000, is
a most attractive freestanding, architect designed
residence with self contained unit situated
in the area colloquially known as “the golden
quarter mile”. It is equidistant between Ned’s
Beach and The Lagoon and screened from the outside
world by the Lord Howe Moreana Palm and other mature
trees and shrubs. It is a generally level walk
or bike ride to beach, lagoon, village shops and
restaurants accessed by a private access way and
benefiting from complete privacy.
Accommodation to the main residence includes entry
foyer, large living room opening to timber deck,
dining room and sitting room that open to large timber
decks, kitchen with walk-in pantry, laundry, guests’ powder
room, master bedroom suite (with walk-in robe and
ensuite), second bedroom with walk-in robe and ensuite. Two
additional bedrooms and main bathroom. All
bedrooms open to timber decking as does the Gallery.
Double garage with internal access.
The grounds have been landscaped to flagged walkways,
formal gardens and lawns and an irrigation system
is installed.
The residence and unit sits upon land of 6,507 square
metres. |
